The Lumen Team, which is based in London and Wales, UK, consists of specialists in art, technology, marketing, media and the non-profit sector. They include:
Carla Rapoport, CEO & Founder
Following a global career as a business journalist with The Financial Times and The Economist Group located in Tokyo, Hong Kong and London, Carla moved into arts management in 2010, launching the Treberfydd Summer Art Exhibition in aid of local and international charities at Treberfydd House, an historic house in Wales, UK. A founding director of Treberfydd Foundation, Carla launched the Lumen Prize Exhibition in 2011.
Mary Ginsberg, Head of Exhibitions
With degrees from Yale, Columbia and Sotheby’s/SOAS Arts of Asia Diploma, Mary Ginsberg has worked with the British Museum since 1999, both curating and assisting with the curation of exhibitions in the field of Chinese political and contemporary art.
Alexandra Millar, Marketing and Media Executive
A graduate of the Cardiff School of Art and Design, Alexandra has worked in marketing for London galleries and exhibitions as well as the retail sector. She is also pursuing her own visual arts career and has participated in exhibitions in the US and UK.
Andrew McCully, IT Support and Web Development
Andrew is a freelance web designer/development based in Cheshire, England, with over 10 years experience in the IT industry.
Eloise Sherrid, Intern, USA
Eloise is a student at the Rhode Island School of Design, studying in the RISD’s Open Media Track.
Sue Raikes, OBE
Sue is a consultant to the non-profit sector based in the UK. Acting as a catalyst for numerous statutory and voluntary sector initiatives, Sue’s work was recognised with an OBE in 2006. Sue is a director of Treberfydd Foundation.
