Call for Life' is a Mnemonic Data Sculpture that captures the emotional essence of a rescue operation following the catastrophic earthquake in Turkiye on February 6, 2023. This piece transforms sound data from a poignant rescue moment into a physical and digital form, serving as a permanent memory of the event. The sculpture is based on an audio recording from February 7, 2023, during search and rescue efforts in Hatay Samandag.

In the recording, a rescuer calls out, 'Does anyone hear my voice?' Using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis, the sound data is broken down into different frequencies and reimagined as a 3D form through computational design techniques. The resulting structure is a visual and tangible representation of hope and resilience, embodying the urgent call for life amidst the rubble. As an NFT (Non-Fungible Token), 'Call for Life' exists as a unique digital asset on the blockchain.

This NFT can be bought, sold, and traded, with all proceeds directed towards ongoing earthquake relief efforts. By combining art, technology, and humanitarian aid, this piece not only preserves the memory of a significant moment but also facilitates continuous support for those impacted by the disaster. 'Call for Life' stands as a symbol of solidarity and remembrance, offering a way to keep the memory of the earthquake and its aftermath alive, while providing tangible help to those in need. 63 editions of the NFT have been sold and 100% of the funds are transferred to NGO's for relief efforts.
